DIVE SHOPS
Situated up on the Western end of the Hoe, in Pier street. This is a small dive shop, which gives excellent service.
David & Jeannette Pelly, bought Sandford & Down' when it became available in April 2000. Previously, David worked in the shop as an equipment engineer, which is backed up with over 20 years of offshore and recreational diving experience.
The shop offers offers a friendly and enthusiastic service to both people that are new to the sport (providing them with the sound information that they need to get started), and the more experienced diver.
No matter what experience or knowledge David is firm believers that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the wonders that diving has to offer. The shop provides all types of equipment, from the Novice to the Technical diver at competitive rates.
Sandford & Downs shop includes a diver training school S&D TRAINING, run by David, offering a wide range of courses from PADI, DAN and IAHD.

Sound Diving is located in Queen Anne’s Battery Marina. The marina is host to many big sailing events. It has many shops, that sell watersports equipment etc.

The closest place for getting cylinders pumped is Looe Divers which is situated at Hannafore point West Looe. After crossing the bridge to West Looe turn immediately left, keeping the river on your left.Follow the road past the fire station (which is on your right), up the hill, and along the cliff edge to Hannafore. Looe Divers is on the right, just as the road widens. It is also possible to drop bottles off at the waters edge by boat. When approaching the Banjo Pier (entrance to Looe harbour) from the east it is possible to see Looe Divers from the sea (next door the Tom Sawyers Tavern). At the foot of the cliff there are a set of steps which lead to the road. Care should be exercised when approaching the steps as there are a few large rocks in the channel leading to them. It is also possible to have Nitrox pumped here.
